Inside the Aetherius Society: A Church Stranger Than Scientology

Unlike most major religions, in which one omnipresent creator reigns supreme, the Aetherius Society — itself named after a being from Venus who founder Dr King claims telepathically communicated with him over many decades — believes all spiritual leaders from throughout the ages are cohorts.

Buddha and Jesus also hail from Venus, Mr Middleton claims, while Krishna calls Saturn home.

These “Gods From Space” operate on a different “frequency of vibration” which is why: a) NASA exploration is unable to prove “that Venus is, in fact, teeming with life”, and b) Reports of UFO sightings often include the craft blinking in and out of view.

According to the Aetherius Society, this is them “moving from one plane of existence to another very quickly”.

“They do not reincarnate like we do; they have mastered the ‘wheel of rebirth’ and are therefore effectively immortal — though they may change their physical structures from time to time.

They have colossal psychic powers, and, more importantly, perfect intuition which works in complete harmony with a flawless sense of logic.

They are masters of all known sciences, and also masters of what we might call the arts. They are sometimes referred to as ‘Cosmic Masters’, or even ‘Gods from Space’, in deference to their elevated evolutionary status.”

Dr. George King's Initial Contact in May 1954


Determined to help humanity raise itself from universal suffering and ignorance, his life's mission became apparent on May 8, 1954. Alone in his London apartment, a loud physical voice delivered the following Command:

"Prepare yourself! You are to become the Voice of Interplanetary Parliament."

He was initially shocked by the implications of this statement. It came out of the blue without warning or explanation. All he knew with his mastery over terrestrial phenomena was that what he had heard, he had heard.

A few days later he was visited by a world-renowned Yoga Master whom he knew to be alive and active in India at that time. This Master, in every way physical, entered and left through a locked door that he did not open.

Mars and Venus Speak to Earth


On May 8th, 1954 Dr. George King living in London received "The Command" to become Primary Terrestrial Mental Channel No. One for extraterrestrial intelligences. In the BBC LIFELINE broadcast on May 21, 1959 the title of the program was "MARS AND VENUS SPEAK TO EARTH".

This is being shown in full as it was broadcast at that time. The copyright has now expired: "In the case of a broadcast made after the commencement of the 1956 Act, the copyright in a broadcast programme expires 50 years from the end of the year in which it is broadcast: section 14(2), Copyright Act 1956."

The trance condition adopted by Dr. George King as shown in this video is a positive yogic Samadhic trance condition brought about by raising the power of Kundalini to a high psychic center. Dr. King was able to bring this condition about because of many years of practicing yoga. He was a true master of this ancient science.

The inflection of the voice when the Master Aetherius speaks is quite distinct from the normal voice of Dr. King. It remained the same for many decades that he spoke through Dr. King. Another proof of the authenticity of the Master Aetherius from whom The Aetherius Society is named.

It should be pointed out that extraterrestrial intelligences live in more subtle bodies but the bodies that are still physical on their level of existence.

The message from the Master Aetherius, ‘To live the laws as laid down by our greatest teachers’, is just as important today as it was then.
