I'm personally familiar with the laws and security procedures because I had to follow them myself. All of these criminals should be in jail.

There is no way in hell that EVERYONE who sent email to that private account wasn't aware of the implications and criminality of doing so. Just the fact that there was a private email address and not a .gov address is a huge red flag to everyone with a clearance.

The Department of State security office and IT office (who work hand in hand) should have also been aware something was wrong within the first week of Killary using an alternative system. Her internal .gov address was reportedly not being used. The lack of traffic on that account should have been a huge red flag as well. Especially when Killary's aides requested a secure Blackberry, but it was denied.

All of this should have been stopped within the first week. EVERYONE, AND I MEAN EVERYONE, dropped the ball or were colluding!

But this is even bigger than that. How were SAP documents, which were classified at a higher level of security clearance than Clinton had, on that server?

It cannot be a crime to send something to Hillary, unless it's already classified. Stupid, maybe, but not a crime. Was she getting stuff at her insecure email address from inside the government? Then the sender would be liable for whatever breach they committed. Like you I don't know how big this was.

But Hillary's end of it was completely illegal and off the charts, and everyone who aided and abetted it is liable as well to a lesser extent. Even Huma, who seemed very prudent within the bounds of her role from what we read in the emails, knew what she was involved with. That's why she said she's terrified to have this stuff out there.

It's not illegal to have a private account for personal email. The problem was that many emails that were sent to the private account were work/gov related correspondence and classified government documents.

Everyone is liable. The sender, the recipient who didn't report it, and then the recipient who replied and/or forwarded it, and on and on through the entire email chain.

Then we can get into the lying about it, deleting the emails with BleachBit, and the fact that many people around the world have copies of the emails from the hack before they were deleted.

And no, Huma didn't have the required clearances for some of these emails either. She was not acting within the bounds of her official role. Just because she was "terrified" doesn't mean she was afraid of the info getting out there - she was terrified of being caught.

Huma and Cheryl Mills are the ones who submitted the request for a secure blackberry for Clinton, and it was denied. There is an email of them talking about it. So, they knew right from the beginning that Clinton was skirting security procedures with this new address, and didn't report it.

For people who have worked with classified information, completed all the mandatory training, and followed every law and procedure, this is maddening!
