there most certainly is an agenda to this thing. Our politicians announced that we all had to do our part in reducing greenhouse emissions and that we would all be 'encouraged' to lower our carbon footprint by using much less energy.

At the same time our state gov. has said that it intends to increase the population of our state significantly, yet hasn't put the infrastructure into support the increased population.

Therefore if you jack up the prices of using energy you will make the existing power supply go further.

Climate change is real convenient, that is for sure.
