I saw that same thing yestarday with 10x binocoulars, the head was red, with short tail, at first I thought it was an airplane, but then it kept going west without leaving a long trail like those jets do.

Take out a telescope and You'll be able to spot Niburians waving to You!!! I hope to see it tomorrow morning, but without binoculars

Ive been looking for this damn thing for days but have been blanketed in with some relentless clouds.. Weeks now... Damn it all

I don't know the exact times.
From what I have seen. Before daybreak and minutes after sunset.

I looked, but haven't seen anything. Followed Spaceweather instruction. Just after sunset, blah blah. Clear sky.

I saw it two nights ago about 5:15pm on pacific coast. It had a short contrail following it and appeared for about 10 minutes.

i took the magnetic disc out of a 3.5 and filtered out the sun ... i dont see anything yet and im looking straight at the sun and surrounding area in broad daylight i will try again closer to sunset hopefully the atmosphere will magnify it enough to seeeeeeeee.
