Considering just hiw much news this has generated, it was even on the BBC morning news, and how often it has been posted here, I am beginning to think there might be an encoded message we keep missing.

Anyone ever try the old trick of putting the destination address in the top left corner, put your own address in the place of the destination and throw it in the box with no stamp?

If they "return to sender" for insufficient postage, then it gets to the intended party.
If they do "deliver" it, it comes back to you.

Anyone try this?

I did once back when I was around 10 and it worked but havent done it since.
