If God wanted to get married...
Do you think it would be hard for Him to find a wife?

Really, no thoughts?

How would God choose the right woman? If He went around as Himself in infinite glory every woman would want to be with Him.

He'd have to go incognito but risk not finding anyone.

Well "God" can't be like "I'm God," at least it doesn't seem like it.. Doesn't revelation trigger Armageddon...

But God would probably take what he can get like a normal human, but wouldn't draw the line at one, like a Mormon.

Just ideas.

Re: If God wanted to get married...
I could understand having like 20-30 wives and treating them like pure gold. You'd have to have a queen though.

That's my dream, being with a small circle of women I'm absolutely head over heels about. Giving them everything and try to make them all as happy as they ever could be.

In heaven it's possible I suppose.

Though Jesus said there's no marriage in heaven, I hope in all honesty he was mistaken, because I absolutely love women. They give me unparalleled comfort and peace.

My take on it at least.

I think "God" would have inclinations toward independent women who don't need a lot of attention from him: he'd probably be preoccupied with climate change and poverty and what not.

Re: If God wanted to get married...
What if God has it all figured out. Maybe he doesn't want to live like a King down here and wanted to try leading a normal life with normal goals and aspirations to live as we do.

As far as God acting like us, it's he other way around. We are made in His image. We, who believe, also have the mind of Christ so we can think like God thinks.

Ita not too hard to believe, ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened.

God is not a vengeful God except to the truly wicked. He is a loving Father of creation and a best friend to those who seek Him and wish to dwell with Him.

God doesn't have any secrets, He just disclose His thoughts and plans when needed.

Like I said maybe He wants to live as an average man and forget about who He was for a period of time. He would grow up as we do, probably choose right over wrong, and at the right time wake up to who He is after obtaining what he would be seeking.

He's God, who's to say that is impossible?

If God wants a wife or wives, who would say He can't or advise Him otherwise.

Personally, I believe this is all true. That God is seeking a queen.

Read psalm 45 and Hebrews 1.

Psalm 45 shows God will have a queen, and she will worship Him because He is Lord. It also says his queen will have virgins for the King as well as herself.

It also says the queen will have sons and they will be as kings. It also says the queen will be greatly honored unto all generations and the King will desire her beauty.

It also says God is the most handsome of all men.

God can also will Himself to do anything. He has all power and ability. He is unlimited in regards to definitive limitations.

However, though God can whatever He pleases, He can do no right.

Re: If God wanted to get married...
God is Higher Mind, the Love and Connections between All Progressed and Advanced Beings, and the Source of Intelligence and Life.

In that sense God doesnt marry. God is not male or female, or rather has the infinite full spectrums of energies, that are all Positive Higher Mind and Progressing Consciousness.

God is not a duality being, like the dark side thinks, not neutral, because you are this thing called consciousness, housed in a soul. You either grow bigger, infinitely, or you shrivel up and become more machine than man, with lesser spirit soul.

Now if you pluck away, understanding, empathy and love from your consciousness you just halfed your soul orb.

God is only Good, only progressed growing consciousness/spirit, infinite Tao/Waters of Love and Goodness.

Metaphorically and possibly we see that metaphor spiritually on the other side, God can be seen as Mom/Dad, Child, hence the Christ consciousness or Family of Love of which we are all infinite parts of this infinite ocean.

9 Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;

11 So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.

12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

13 The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

14 She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

Re: If God wanted to get married...
God the Father has been married for eons. We are all his
children, born to them in spirit, then born into mortality
to get a mortal body for the resurrection.

Some think Christ married while on earth, when he changed the
water to wine at the wedding feast, and that his wife's name
was Mary.

There is theory that there was at least one offspring. Others believe 3.

It is probable that the Templar Knights were their guardians
after the crucifixion, and that they fled to Wales, where
eventually the lineage died out, and/or the Templars were
destroyed.

The purpose of the Jesuits was and is to discover signs of
the lineage of Christ, so it can be wiped out. The Catholics
have always been all about eradicating all knowledge of Christ
and his message and resurrection.

By now, there would be no actual blood of Christ in anyone's veins, just DNA and it would be scant.

If the first generation is half,
the second 1/4
third 1/8
fourth 1/16
fifth 1/32
sixth 1/64
seventh 1/128
eighth 1/256
That covers less than 200 years.
It's been nearly 3000 since Christ was on the earth.

Psalm 45

1 My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

2 Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.

3 Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.

4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

5 Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.

6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

8 All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

9 Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;

11 So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.

13 The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

14 She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

15 With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.

16 Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.

17 I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.

No, not hard, so many love him. But it does sound like he was very close to Mary Magdalena and so it's nice to think they are both together in heaven enjoying eternal life together.

Re: If God wanted to get married...
The KJV language is a little difficult at times for some. I like the NIV and ESV, this is Psalm 45 NLT

1 Beautiful words stir my heart.
I will recite a lovely poem about the king,
for my tongue is like the pen of a skillful poet.
2 You are the most handsome of all.
Gracious words stream from your lips.
God himself has blessed you forever.
3 Put on your sword, O mighty warrior!
You are so glorious, so majestic!
4 In your majesty, ride out to victory,
defending truth, humility, and justice.
Go forth to perform awe-inspiring deeds!
5 Your arrows are sharp, piercing your enemies’ hearts.
The nations fall beneath your feet.
6 Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever.
You rule with a scepter of justice.
7 You love justice and hate evil.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you,
pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.
8 Myrrh, aloes, and cassia perfume your robes.
In ivory palaces the music of strings entertains you.
9 Kings’ daughters are among your noble women.
At your right side stands the queen,
wearing jewelry of finest gold from Ophir!
10 Listen to me, O royal daughter; take to heart what I say.
Forget your people and your family far away.
11 For your royal husband delights in your beauty;
honor him, for he is your lord.
12 The princess of Tyre[c] will shower you with gifts.
The wealthy will beg your favor.
13 The bride, a princess, looks glorious
in her golden gown.
14 In her beautiful robes, she is led to the king,
accompanied by her bridesmaids.
15 What a joyful and enthusiastic procession
as they enter the king’s palace!
16 Your sons will become kings like their father.
You will make them rulers over many lands.
17 I will bring honor to your name in every generation.
Therefore, the nations will praise you forever and ever.
