There are b batteries, an internet search would answer that for you. You have heard of the internet haven't you? There are moonroofs and hvac vents so fans are not needed. Plus having multiple opening windows provides plenty of air circulation when driving down the road.

Back in the early days of battery-powered vacuum tube devices (mainly radios) there were, in fact, A and B batteries. Both batteries had voltage ratings that were higher than today's standard 1.5 volts. The voltage of A batteries was in the range of, say, 5-6 volts and B batteries had a much greater voltage rating, say 90 volts or so. The A batteries supplied a bias to the grid of those "valves" mentioned previously (in the US we call them vacuum tubes) and B batteries supplied bias to the plate of the vacuum tube.

In vacuum tube days (before transistors) "A" batteries were to heat the filiments, "B" batteries supplied the "plate" voltage and "C" batteries were used for screen bias for tetrodes and pentodes. (Been there, done that).

There are "B" batteries. They're just used in old tube portables from the 30's and 40's before transistors which worked with lower voltages. I believe they were 90 volts.
