Russia: Charcoal named after US President Obama on sale in Novosibirsk

A Russian charcoal-producing company presented its latest line of charcoal inspired by US President Barack Obama, named 'Obamawood', was presented in Novosibirsk on Saturday.
Dmitri Demin, CEO of Zhariki company which is producing the charcoal, said that the idea to name the charcoal after the Obama came to him some time ago and was related to his personal attitude to the global politics, to Obama and to the United States. Demin went on to describe his decision as a joke, but also as a "slight marketing ploy" to attract customers.
