No where does it name an election must wait on a certain political party, If the DNC cannot provide a candidate the election would continue,with Trump in an obvious advantage.

If she steps down I predict a Biden/Sanders ticket, which I believe would be a formidable challenge to Trump

Pretty suspicious that the new plan is so urgent; they need to find a replacement by 6'clock this morning?! Sounds like an emergency. Do they know something we don't?

It's not the Constittution that prevents presidents from serving a third term. They always step down because they don't want a bullet in their head. Because if one did stay in; the Constitution is clear as day that it is against the law. So, anyone who removed him or her from office would be completely justified in doing so. And we are not even just talking about some lone nut. Any law enforcement agency acting officially or rogue any military unit acting officially or rogue, any militia, any private citizen would be completely justified if law enforcement can't or won't arrest the president.

And if they did remove the president by force, a judge or jury would either give them a light sentence or no sentence at all. But if we are following the Constitution and the intent or statements of the founding fathers, I would think that there would be a lot of good arguements that the people that removed him by force deserve no punishment. These presidents realize the amount of armed citizens in this country and a third presidential term is not a gray area and would very likely guarantee serious, serious consequences for the tyrant that decided to stay in power.. unless there was a very serious national emergency. I think the only national emergency that would justify a hold on the election would be imminent war or the U.S.'s imminent demise from a war.

But most these presidents could give a shit less about the Constitution regarding a third term. What they are really concerned about is the armed populace. Now you see why the second amendment is so important and we shouldn't ever give up our guns.
