Damascus accused Israel of supporting armed groups in Syria, describing the activities of Israeli aviation at the Golan Heights as “a desperate attempt to raise the morale of terror organizations.” The Israeli military struck artillery positions in Syria on Tuesday after a projectile from that country’s civil war hit the Israeli-controlled part of the Golan Heights.
