Kirk and Bones and Spock beamed down to some planet that was having some rock mining problems. Some alien creature made of rock was killing all the human minors. When Captain Kirk phased the rock creature it became injured. Later... Kirk asked Dr. McCoy to help the injured rock creature and Bones replied...." Dam it Jim... I'm a doctor not a brick layer". One of the funniest lines ever in Star Trek. Quoting: Joe in JT 70759220 THAT thing had to be one of the LAMEST "creatures" of 50s and 60s sci-fi. Very hard to watch if you enjoyed sci-fi. I winced in embarrassment for the guys who came up with it. That's what happens when you GOT NO DOUGH. |

There were lots of lame monsters and yes Star Trek had some lame monsters. So what. The stories were great though, unlike the stories of today; shallow with lots of bling and no substance or character development, and you can barely understand the plot. Sucks to be you. What they did to the new version of Wrath of Khan is blasphemy. |

Looks like I hit a nerve? I loved TOS, and hated everything after that, including the pussified Capt Jean Luc Picard's Next Generation. Prime Directive? Blast their asses! |

Wonder how long William and Nichelle will continue the trek with us. I reserve the right to declare my comments and posts as satire. No matter, Back in the day we as kids were watching sci fi from Japan (more than Godzilla) and Peter Cushing movies on Sat. afternoons. |

Bones clubbing a disguised monster who subsists on salt out of people. Proving his theory by overhand clubbing the thing repeatedly like a good doctor should. Laugh every time. Spock was doing the clubbing. Bones was watching. |
