Actually, I'm 63 and retired and living on Social Security. I've been a pot-head for about 40 years but can't afford to buy it anymore so I grow my own in the basement. I saved my leaf trimmings [about 100grams] and bought a High Times Cookbook to learn how to cook with them.

Used 28gm to make 1/2lb. of CannaButter and made my first batch of Brownies three weeks ago.

Tonight I used up the rest in this batch of Oatmeal cookies. The first 16 just came out of the oven and are cooling now. Once they do, I'll glaze them with some Vanilla frosting.

Adopt me? Marry me?

I'm a little long in the tooth -or rather, dental implants- for marriage. But, I'm having lots of fun since I retired!

2nd batch of cookies are out of the oven and I'm about to put the last one in. I'll end up with a little over two dozen.

I wasn't expecting the high I got from the Brownies. Took about an hour to feel it; it was a body high kinda' like the Vicodin I took when I had all my teeth pulled last year. Lasted about two hours and was very mellow & manageable... but that Brownie mix only used 1/4c of CannaButter. I used twice that much in these cookies, so I can't wait to try them! The Butter itself was made from AK-48 trimmings so it was a good strain, as well.
