We all need to start finding ways to produce our own damn fuel via plant fermentation or something similar. There has got to be ways to ferment common backyard plants to achieve a flammable fuel.

I lived most of my life without computers, smart phones, and all the amenities everyone can't do without. I learned canning at a very young age. The old folks made sure they passed their secrets down. Now I have land in the middle of nowhere waiting for the bottom to fall out.

Livestock, seed vaults, aquaponics, ect. Well and septic already in. Hand pump hooked up. Gravity fed aquaponics. Adapt and improvise or go out in a bad way. Learn some basic skills at least. You never know when history repeats itself and you're better off living like this anyway.

Their kids are going to go insane if they have no access. Maybe even kill their own parents cause of that. Makes sense. More food for them.
