In my generation, if somebody bullied you, you just kicked their ass

I always had money to pay people to kick the bullies ass if they messed with me. I would pay some people $100.00 to kick their ass and they never messed with me again.

There is a bright side. Thin skinned, overly sensitive, immature, weak minded, people (aka "PUSSIES") will be the first to go when the SHTF.

At my kids high school a 16 year old girl ate a bullet two weeks ago because she was being bullied at school. The school insists there was no bullying even though EVERYONE knows the two girls who did it. These two girls led a prayer for her after her death. The bullies are athletes and favorites, at this school they will not face consequences. It makes me sick. I wish she had been my kid :(

I would then pay someone to beat your ass extra with injuries... and maybe a trip to the hospital...

Or grow some love. Hurting people hurt people. Instead of "fight", I'd rather find understanding. Hate begets more hate. Nothing solved. Temporary feel goods, negatively based. Bullies may hinder, but not be cured.

They'll take it out on the next victim. To be their 'victim' is to give power to evil/hate. Love is the healing 'opposer', the band-aid to the wound. Vengeance is the deliverer of the same infliction you despise.

Hate doesn't cure hate imo. To me, inflicting pain and punishment on another would be hypocritically justifying bad behavior with... bad behavior. Hurt people inflicting more hurt. The beat goes on. The love route is harder, but more rewarding and beneficial. It's expansion, a step above, rather than running in the same dark, trapped circle... feeding it more of it's self. JMO.

Attitudes like yours are the reason that there are so many school shootings nowadays. Kids feel helpless and hopeless because they get picked on and no adult will step in to stop it, so they fight back the only way they can.

I'd like to see you try all that peace and love stuff whilst someone (more likely, someoneS) is beating the crap out of you.

I grew up in a sort of "Little Italy" which was becoming "Little Mexico", where many of the Mexican girls wore beehive hairdos where they hid knives for their boyfriends.

Beating people up, or even better yet dumping someone's bookbag into the puddles so that THEY would get in trouble when they got home was just an after-school exercise for these bitches, who ran in groups.

The only way to get them to stop was to be tougher, or stronger, or CRAZIER than they were. After a few run-ins with them, I began carrying a baseball bat, and then they left me alone. I knew how to use it, was prepared to use it, but never needed to use it.

Just like Trump says, "Peace Through Strength".

They want a safe space and the right to decide who can be in it! It's only a safe space for SJW's. They feel totally ok with attacking anyone who disagrees with their views while in their safe space!

I know I know, sucks, I've been provoked to violence before, been in fights, and smacking the shit out of some inglorious A-hol seems the perfect solution, stops them in their tracks, teaches them a lesson, and saves you all the physical, mental, emotional scars
HOWEVER and I state from experience, there is a price to be paid for every form of physical contact, and violence is a bad street, that when the time comes, for Heaven, you will inevitably suffer your own abuse right down to the emotion you instill by participating. And worse is the fact of your actions effect on the other and the ramifications of such combined with spirits free of time and space all around the incident, going to bite you ahead of time as a guilty party on potential alone
Better to take the hits, dust yourself off, rise above it, and pray for the grace and salvation to be set free and made impervious, as your aggravated soul will set about in conjunction with the Holy Spirit to enact warding so such foolishness is repulsed to a point it ceases. When these things appear to fail, you need only look at yourself, situation, demographic, and path of journey to accept the necessity and unavoidability of taking those type of injury, in a predictable manner, and see if you can steer your ship clear of those rocks, even if it means you need to jettison cargo or scuttle and seek port of call in a lifeboat, since to fight is to play into the hands of your enemies and rubs off on you and your beloved in all kinds of incredible horrific ways nonetheless fight or not

Bullies are really cowards. They need many people to back them up so they can feel big. Back in the day if you took a bully out, they left you alone. Now they hide (like the cowards they are) and bully electronically.

They are still cowards. Some things never change.

This should be going on much more. However, the reason it does not is because even the person defending themselves is punished. This happened to me when I was younger. I was in HS when things began to go down hill. Some dude flat out attacked me & got taught that the quiet new guy has been in martial arts for his entire life. All I did was defend myself. He punched, I blocked and shin-kicked him in the ribs. He punched again and I hit the off switch on the side of his head and it was over. He was older, larger and known for shit like that. I got punished much more harshly than him because I "was the aggressor" by the time the faculty got through the crowd. A second instance occurred at the same school leading to me getting my GED before the Jr year was over and moving on with my life. The problem is that they don't care about the law. If you defend yourself then you are branded a bad kid. This leads to parents buying into the wimpification of their children because they don't challenge such BS. So you get instances of people afraid to defend themselves because they're taught that their whole future rides on not pissing off faculty who are some of the lowest common denominator in all of education on this planet. Can't have kids thinking it's possible to get through life on their own now....

Our parents would tell us don't start fights, but if someone starts a fight with you, then you finish it by beating their behinds.
