I would like to reconnect with the love of my life who I fear may be in a bad place. Roughly seven months ago, my girlfriend and I were on an amazing vacation in Costa Rica. We were truly in love and discussed getting married and starting a family in the near future. She had some rough parts of her life. An ex boyfriend who beat her and put her in the hospital multiple times almost killing her. This led to her having a drinking problem that she was determined to overcome. I supported her through a long recovery process in which she was almost done with.

When we returned from our trip, she entered a 30 day inpatient rehab, which was the last thing she had to complete to move on from a previous DUI. Before entering rehab, we spoke at length about starting our life together when she finished. This is the last I heard from her. Through her family, I had heard that the day she got out, her ex who used to abuse her contacted her. Her family seemed worried. I've tried to contact her with no success. This was six months ago. I fear she has fallen into old habits, possibly being forced by her abusive ex. I'm so worried she is in a bad place and in desperate need of help.

My hope is to reunite with her and have her back in my life. To have her be safe and healthy and happy. Hopefully, this is something you can assist me with.

If she is safe and happy, which would mean she did a complete 180 with no explanation for disappearing, maybe you can help me know that since I would no longer wish to reunite since that would mean she doesn't want me in her life. If this is the case, maybe you can help me move on and find that person who I could be happy with and start a life with. However, I truly fear that she is in a place she doesn't want to be in and possibly being forced into the situation.
