The real question is will Clinton use a body double, perhaps surgically enhanced in the past week or two, in the debate. It would be audacious, but the double in the video below - which I don't think is Teresa Barnwell - has been playing her probably for at least a couple of years. Maybe for a few million, she'd be willing to do the debate with an earphone.

If it's really Clinton tonight, my guess is that they've built supports into the podium to enable her to stand. It would be terrible if something were to happen to that podium today. Simply terrible......

The article I saw showed she is getting a taller podium and a step stool.

There are two schools of thought when it comes to the height of global leaders. One dictates that a shorter stature propels a person to bigger and better things because they feel a need to prove they can "measure up." It's called over-compensation and in many cases it leads the individual to have a more combative [where have we heard that word recently?], dictatorial attitude. These people also frequently believe the entire world revolves solely around themselves and develop a God-like illusion when it comes to their personal actions. They are also more inclined to fits of depression and irrational outbursts.

Caligula was short [5'5"]. So was Ceasar [5'6"], Alexander the Great [5'7"] and Napoleon [5'6"]. Hitler was 5'8", Goebbels was 5'5" ... not exactly towering! In addition, most people are shocked to find out the true heights of their favorite TV/movie stars - since they too are propelled "prove themselves" publicly.

The 2nd school of thought is that taller people are not only natural leaders, but they have a more stable personality. Their towering presence puts them head-and-shoulders above everybody else from an early age and instead of having a constant need to compete and succeed they acquire the traits naturally without the psychological hangups of height-impaired competitors.
