Burning Down the House

Isaiah 42

Sing to the LORD a new song,
his praise from the end of the earth,
you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it,
the coastlands and their inhabitants.
Let the desert and its cities lift up their voice,
the villages that Kedar inhabits;
let the habitants of Sela sing for joy,
let them shout from the top of the mountains.
Let them give glory to the LORD,
and declare his praise in the coastlands.
The LORD goes out like a mighty man,
like a man of war he stirs up his zeal;
he cries out, he shouts aloud,
he shows himself mighty against his foes.

For a long time I have held my peace;
I have kept still and restrained myself;
now I will cry out like a woman in labor;
I will gasp and pant.
I will lay waste mountains and hills,
and dry up all their vegetation;
I will turn the rivers into islands,
and dry up the pools.
And I will lead the blind
in a way that they do not know,
in paths that they have not known
I will guide them.
I will turn the darkness before them into light,
the rough places into level ground.
These are the things I do,
and I do not forsake them.

Psalm 126

When the LORD reversed the Captivity of Zion,
we all became like Dreamers.
Then our Mouth was filled with Laughter,
and our Tongue with Song;
then they said among the nations,
“The LORD has done the Magnum Opus for them.”
The LORD has done the Magmum Opus for us;
by it we are Beatified.

Reverse our Captivity once more, O LORD,
like Rivers flowing from the Australis!
Those who sow in Tears
shall reap with shouts of Ecstasy!
One who goes forth weeping,
yet bearing the precious Seed,
shall return again with Euphoria,
bringing in the Sheaves.

Your Lord is an Archon, a Baal or Bel.

He makes war with another Archon.

The Bel of Babylon.

Hosea 2

“And in that Day, utter IHVH, you will call me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer will you call me ‘My Baal.’

For I will have removed the names of the Baals from her mouth, and they shall be remembered by name no more.

And I will make for them a Covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety.

And I will betroth you to myself unto the Aeons. I will betroth you to me in Rectification & Justice, in steadfast Love & Mercy.

I will betroth you to me in Fidelity. And you shall know that I am He-Who-Is.

“And in that day I will answer, utters IHVH,
I will answer from the Heavens,
and they shall answer to the Earth,
and the Earth shall answer with the Grain, the Wine, and the Oil,
and they shall answer Jezreel,
and I will sow her for myself in the Land.
And I will have Mercy on No Mercy,
and I will say to Not My People, ‘You are my people’;
and they shall say, ‘You are my God.’”

Judges 5:19-21

Then the kings came, they fought;
then fought the kings of Canaan,
at Taanach, by the Waters of Megiddo;
they got no spoils of Silver.

And from Heaven the Stars waged war,
from their Processions they fought against Sisera.
And the River of Kishon swept them away,
Even the Ancient Flow, the Brook of Kishon.
March on, my soul, with Power!
