Yep, hearing that as well. Already been a lot of helicopters and sirens all day. It's just going to take the smallest provocation from a group of outsiders who know nothing of this shitty little town to turn this place into a war zone. Going to be an ugly surprise to a lot of people - it won't be the police that are shooting at them, it'll be the residents - and many of them have much more firepower at hand. As I mentioned a few days ago, 4th of July sounded like being in the middle of a battle. Some of the crazy Syrians I'm pretty sure are sporting rocket launchers lol. When it was just locals, I wasn't too worried. Locals know that EC is not a wealthy white suburb, it's the catch-all place for the down-and-outs of SD County. Outside protestors are about to come face-to-face with people FAR more lawless than they are.

Just on the news - all El Cajon schools closing early today, all night classes cancelled.

Sorry lol. Was dealing with some work-related stuff in Mission Valley yesterday/last night. Was nice to be out of the Cajon Zone for the day. I'm back and working from home all weekend so I'll be here and posting if anything interesting happens!

They are no where near organized yet. Barely any chanting, and pretty much zero marching. Seems they want the corner of Mollison and Broadway. For the most part, it was another block party. But this time the bean bags and tear gas came out early. 8pm they called unlawful assembly, but probably didn't get it cleared out until after midnight. Hardly any streams either.

Yep. Going to be interesting to see how tonight and tomorrow go. Could still go either way right now.

I will say - there's a plague of tweakers up and down the block today. THe zombies are planning their invasion lol ;)
