Designing Air defense

This is how I would design my air defense network in my "United Republic of Britannia" made up of the Queen Elizabeth Islands.


The top of every commercial building in the city would be armed with the following equipment.

(this is each building, individually)

One Central command Tower, equipped with Command and Control systems, Tactical communications equipment, Military and Civilian Air traffic Control Equipment,
Fire (shooting) control equipment, and IFF Identify Friend or Foe Equipment.

An Aegis-Like 360 degree Long range, Medium Range, Short Range radar, and Weapons locating radar systems.

Powerful lighting systems, sufficient to light up the sky as if it were day.
And Night vision equipment.


35 Thaad missile systems that can each take out nuclear weapons.

35 Iron Dome systems that fires missiles at incoming missiles, aircraft, rockets and flying junk.

Four Radar directed CIWS (close in Weapon system) one for each of the four corners of the buildings.

40 Directed Energy weapon systems.

20 HAWK, SAM Missile systems.

And Dozens of 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 millimeter anti aircraft guns



The Command center staff are always in communication with 30 Air bases...

Each equipped with the following Aircrafts.


250 F-35A, F-35B and F35C jets.
750 F-18 Advanced Super Hornets.
750 Eurofighter Typhoons.

Strike Fighter sized, stealth drones.
Apache, Cobra and Tiger Helicopters.
