Our Dept of State indicates there are about 10 million of us abroad ar any given time. Maybe you have this mistaken opinion because many of us don't care to travel to your region any more.

That doesn't mean we are not going anywhere but frankly it's people like you with your ignorant prejudices that make me glad I don't have any need to go to the EU ever again.

I have been to england france and america. I have also been to all over my country. Lived in canadas only desert, lived on vancouver island, spent time in the yukon. Canada almost has better places than travelling outside our country

People come here to "achieve more". We go to other countries for business or vacation.

I'm American and have traveled alot around the world. United stakes is still one of the best countries to setitle in. India was one huge toilet! I know we have our problems here in America but I would not wanna live anywhere else. God bless our country.

Our country is so diverse and large we dont need to leave "the island". We have it all here already in our various cultures, climate and topographic regions.

Another fact is that unlike someone living in the UK, we can't just hop on a train and visit a dozen different countries so of course we travel much less than a European.

I have traveled abroad. And traveling abroad is not a perquisite for insight into global politics. I've never been to an Indian restaurant, but I don't need to go to said restaurant to know curry gives me the squirts.

There is also almost 400 million of us. So we could have a smaller amount of Americans that have left the country from a percentage perspective but millions more Americans in real numbers (gross numbers) that leave the country every year than other countries.
