Why is it that men are not attracted to intelligent, attractive women?

I think there is some truth in this. Dumb women are also more superficial and may shower a male with insincere compliments - something men are attracted to.

Many men also seem to enjoy coming to GLP and bitching about how 'crazy' all women are. This theory would collapse in on itself if they dated intelligent, non-melodramatic females.

People say this but you could always flip it and ask why a smart woman would want to be with someone they can out think ?

You're contradicting yourself there. First saying that a girl should be the 'opposite' of a man, then saying she needs to be an easy lay.

I think she was wearing artificial maturity when we we dated.
Seemed intelligent, independent, moral and hard working.

As time went on, she either grew into a yuppie, or regressed into adolescence again.

Intelligent attractive women almost always want a man who has a traditional college education and a respectable career. Its not that men don't like them, men stay away from them because they know when the intelligent woman finds out they have high school education only and you work jobs that pay like 10-12 bucks an hour they will politely move along. When I was younger I used the internet to try and meet females like anyone else. I only ever met ones that were at a crappy job or still in college. After enough of the "intelligent" ones passed me up without even knowing anything about me except a picture and a profile I knew I didn't want to waste my time on them. Better to date waitress, factory worker, cashier, low level secretary, cna. Nurses have the highest % of intelligent females who don't actually care that the guy isn't always book smart, because nurses r sensitive, caring people to begin with.
