What if a rouge state (Like Iran) wants to cripple or embarrass America by getting them to fight with Russia or China or even New Zealand?

The world is run by very OLD people that are looking death in the face.

People that are used to getting their own way no matter what.

People that have been so drunk on power their entire lives that they would actively ignore their own irrational actions.

People that are quite possibly senile due to age.

This is a textbook description of an "Irrational Actor" i.e. the most dangerous people to have on international stage.

To presume to know what they will do in any given situation is arrogant and dangerous, just like them.

Wars start with a defining moment/action. We are talking anything from an invasion to a gunshot.

We are currently sitting on a powder keg with International relations at their worst level for a long time.

Can anyone seriously point out a way of normalizing this situation because I can't see it. Ego, reputation and domestic politics all stand in the way.

All it would take is the wrong move at the wrong time and we will all watch this shit show crash and burn.
