Each candidate was/is a product of their time. Some were/are ahead of their time.. To answer your question.. IMO...maybe because quality people who get into politics either don't last long, get suicided, or grow less and less bold and beaten down..trying to do what little they can against the strong forces opposing them. Some become jaded..some are/were presented offers they couldn't refuse.. I am sure a great many honorable men/women went into politics with good intentions, with hope and with good plans. Unfortunately, we all know that those who run the show are not those we see. Every presidential candidate gets up there and tells us what we want to hear. Some of them actually mean it. IF they get elected, they quickly learn who holds the power...It has never been the potus who has control..their only real power is executive orders... Oshammy has accomplished the things he has only because those in control are the ones making it happen..not him. He is the pawn..His ego will never accept that tho. He really does fancy himself a god.
