There was far more beauty in the world when we lived by candlelight. When our heat was a fireplace or a wood stove. When horses were our transportation. i try to use electric lighting as little as possible...i prefer candles far more. They create a very nice atmosphere.

I said "What do you call it ? "Why, that's a poofters alarm clock of course !" My eyes full of confusion "Ya just shove it in to the "6", light the wick, & you'll always wake up at the right time. You can betchya ma boy !" he exclaimed loudly for all to hear.

No tv, no noise at all, candle light, a good book, and a fire in the fireplace.
