Cheaper than housing 1000's in camps in EU and better than relocating to foreign countries. Nation has its Moslems roots.  The truth is Aleppo has already been destroyed. The only thing left are bombed out buildings. And those buildings on the lower levels and in basements are occupied by ISIS. Leveling it further will destroy the ISIS head choppers that are dedicated to killing as many people as possible. the armies that surround them could wait them out for a few months and let them starve to death.
