First, all babies are NOT born with blue eyes.

Second blue eyes do not turn green for FOUR YEARS AFTER BIRTH.

So, if you happen to see a redheaded baby with bright blue eyes, figure they aren't going to stay blue because redheads DON'T HAVE FRICKEN BLUE EYES.

Irish and Proud, never been called 'gritty' before though lol. Half my family are red headed and we've no scottish ancestry.

Actually, Irish people really disdain Americans. They think they are "fat and lazy" just like every other single immigrant population that comes here to take American worker's jobs and NOT PAY TAXES, and not contribute anything.
The recent crop seems to have lower IQ's, be less attractive, have far worse morals, and have a totally unjustifiable superior attitude. They're incredibly status conscious and really horrible alcoholics.

All I can say is YUCK.

Ha ha ha I'm 3/4 Italian, 1/4 Scottish and I can honestly say that my Irish friends have been among the absolute finest people I've ever known. Of course, as they say, "there are good and bad" of all ethnicities, races etc. But I do have a special affinity for my fellow NYC bred Irish Catholics, they are in general what I would call "stand-up people". God knows they've been through hell historically, maybe that's had an effect on their character.

As for the Italians, their contributions to civilization, especially in the areas of engineering, architecture, the arts, cuisine etc. are pretty clearly among the greatest in history. On a personal basis, to some extent I have to give the edge to the Irish strictly on "character" issues but, once again, I don't want to idealize the Irish as there are all kinds of them as with any other people.

But "arrogant" and "stupid"? Did some handsome Italian guy dump you or some beautiful Italian gal stand you up for a date?

You're right. There are a few but it's the rarest combination of all.

You are colorblind. Blue/green colorblindness is common in men. Red with green eyes is much more rare then red with blue. Most redheads have blue, very few have brown or green.
