If the number 666 is considered evil. then technically, 25.8069758 is the root of all evil. |

Do you remember your breath on that moment right now let us say 7 years ago? No? That is amazing to know, right? I have forgotten it. The same can be said to man on earth.
*To forget is easy. To remember is another war to think about.* |

Maybe we aren't anything special; but if we mattered somehow in someway. It counts. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54905422 You mean the dust as a group of particulate or each individual dust planck? |

When you sweep dust out of your house.. how often do you remember that dust?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54905422 You'll remember the time you swept it out; and it swooped back in and made you cough; which then made you laugh; and you teared up from it. |

No, in the scheme of things it doesn't matter. It is great to know that Dinosaur's existed, and it will be great for future intelligent life to know we existed. Other than that, life evolves. Great that it does. |

OP, your question reminds me of something I read recently about a man named Ray Kurzweil, and how he envisions the future of humans. If you have the time and interest, he is one to do a little research on. He is not a prophet, but an inventor and former Google employee. His past predictions regarding technology, computers, and artificial intelligence have been remarkably accurate. For the future of mankind, Kurzweil envisions transhumans living in a world of virtual reality by way of nanobiotechnology, where the biological body is mixed with artificial enhancements (think, computer chips implanted into the brain to enhance learning and telepathic communication.) Eventually, the vision for mankind according to Kurzweil and several others of his ilk will be the shedding of our human bodies. As incredible as that sounds, so many of the technologies he predicted in the past that were once inconceivable are in present use today. Will we be remembered? I wonder if this may depend on how our future transhuman entities will be programmed. |
