There is no absolute guarantee that the electorates will vote as they are expected. That is why the system stinks and that is why we won't know who the president really is until at least January 6.

the Electoral College is the secret trap-door for the Power Elite,
just in case they don't like the voting results.

Re: SO how does TRUMP win the ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTE?
This is how it works:

We (citizens) vote, and if we turn the state blue or red, we send delegates accordingly based on population.

16 of these states, if turned red, are NOT required to actually vote Republican even if they win.

The electoral college scares me, as it is not a balance of power or a representation of the will of the people. My guess is Trump will win 80% of the popular vote and in return lose the electoral college because it is frankly, corrupt.

Still, go vote. I do not know how the Republican party is handling the situation. In particular, i do not think they want to remain out of power and under Democrat control for another four years, so I am hoping they will atleast make sure that the electorates who go will vote Republican.

LibertyNEWS.com Projection (Click here for real-time map).

Hillary Clinton – 230
Donald Trump – 235

Our analysis of the race as it stands provides results that are profoundly different than those of CNN, for example.

CNN Projection (ignore FANTASY)

Hillary Clinton – 307
Donald Trump – 179

Unlike CNN, we did dig deeper. We removed the heavy weight of Democrat respondents from polling results, then we looked at primary turnout and early voting statistics. When these data points are combined we got a much different picture.

In Florida, for example, Hillary Clinton obtained more votes than Trump in the primary.

Florida Primary Votes:

Hillary Clinton – 1,097,400
Donald Trump – 1,077,221
This stat is often cited by MSM pundits to provide credibility to their flawed findings. What they don’t explain is the overall party primary votes cast.

Florida Primary Votes by Party:

Democrats – 1,702,878
Republicans – 2,355,183

That’s a 500,000+ vote advantage right out of the gate. Granted, we can’t assume all of those Republicans will turn out and vote for Trump. But there are some assumptions we can make and those assumptions don’t help Clinton.

Now look at the latest Bloomberg poll for Florida. Unlike most polls the MSM uses, Bloomberg actually properly weighted their sample universe by party.

Bloomberg Results:

Hillary Clinton – 43%
Donald Trump – 45%

What Bloomberg can’t tell us is where the majority of Independents will end up on election day. But they did include a healthy sample of Independents in the poll with an equal number of Republicans and Democrats. The results show Trump with a slight lead.

Additionally, the Democrat Party has waved the white flag on the Florida Senate race. Marco Rubio is highly likely to win with a comfortable margin. And Rubio’s command of the southern Florida vote should lend tremendous help to Trump’s efforts in that part of the state.

We looked at several polls, corrected their weighting methodology, looked at early voting data and came to the conclusion that Donald Trump has the edge.

We found the same in states like North Carolina and Arizona, two states the MSM has written off for Clinton.

Furthermore, when looking at the same landscape for states like Ohio, Colorado and Pennsylvania, we don’t find enough evidence to suggest Trump is in the lead. But we also cannot find enough evidence to suggest Clinton has those states locked up. CNN has written off both Pennsylvania and Colorado for Clinton, two states we believe can go either way.

With all of that said, the following is where we believe the landscape would be if the election were being held today. This could certainly change between now and then, of course, but right now this is what our data has us comfortable with.

CURRENT PROJECTED ELECTORAL VOTE STANDINGS

HILLARY CLINTON 230 ELECTORAL VOTES
DONALD TRUMP 235 ELECTORAL VOTES

In Virginia, anyone that is able to vote can be a candidate for electoral college, at least that's how I understand it.

Here's the list of our electoral electors
It's broken down by party so you have to click on each link

[link to www.elections.virginia.gov]

You should be able to go to your own states election board website and find the electors listed there.

Re: SO how does TRUMP win the ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTE?
The Electoral college is an antiquated institution that REALLY should not have a say in the peoples voice. It unfairly puts the power of the electorate into the hands of the rich.

Only way to get rid of it is to write it out of the Constitution and have it ratified out of existence by the states.

When Trump gets in and he begins to work on congressional term limits, maybe he will also look at updating and adding some key amendments to the Constitution for our posterity....time will tell...crossing fingers, toes and eyes!

Tings I would like to see gone:

-EC abolished
-2 party politics abolished.
-Executive branch powers gutted and amended so that we NEVER EVER have an imperial presidency ever again.
-Better checks and balances to prevent crooked politicians from getting rich off the citizen or system.
-Tougher penalties for crooked politicians.
-Foreign policy to be voted on by the citizens of the country.

etc...
 Quoting: A Deplorable ShrinK

The ELectoral College is an INSTITUTION put into place by the Founding Fathers when the system was set up for voting in the first place.

They are REPRESENTATIVES of the People. Basically the reason for them is so that there is somewhat EQUAL voice for all the states....even the small ones.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2712120

The electorial college is also designed to upturn a popular vote based on the idea that the electorate is Learned and knowledgeable. We are a republic not a democracy.

This may be a time when the electorate would have valid cause to upturn a trump vote for Hillary. The electorate will usually vote with the popular vote but they can overturn when they feel there is strong cause. To my knowledge nothing compels them to vote with the people but they usually do so.

As others have said this only happened 3 times in history.

Hillary has so much baggage that even the Ec may not want to overturn.

Trump does not need to win PA or VA to get to 270.

1. He needs the Romney states

2. Florida and Ohio

3. IA, NV, UT, AZ

4. CO or NH and the 1 EC vote from ME

Re: SO how does TRUMP win the ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTE?
Wait a second. So in your country you don't have votes? You then have a small group that determines it?

What the flying fuck is that?

Most states force the EC to follow the vote of the people I believe.

Well it should be the people who would tar and feather and drive into shark infested waters at gunpoint, not the ones they elect in their states. This is unheard of.

The state tries to convince everyone they cannot resist.

Yup ECV vote trumps the people vote.....the people vote is a sham
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 57187329

Exactly, Trump is part of the system, it is all going how the elites have planned. He cannot win the ECV, unless the media and all the commies are planning on being honest this time?!?!?

You people supporting Trump are deluding yourself. If Trump does get in, it's because that is how it is all planned. The elections would be the FIRST thing the commies would rig, wouldn't they??!?!?!?!?!? Of coarse they would.

It's clear to see what the plan is, and it isn't going to stop unless there is quite literally an ARMED revolution.

he has to win Pennyslvania
 Quoting: Astral Goat

He would if it wasn't for the shitbag flatlander imbeciles in Philthydelphia and Pshittsburg. The areas that had 105% turnout in 2008 with 100% of votes going to Obama. And the stupid liberal yuppies that live in the burbs. The rest of PA is solidly behind Trump.

Maybe some folks in the city will figure it out, maybe not. These are the people who elected Tom Wolf as governor, so don't hold your breath.

Re: SO how does TRUMP win the ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTE?
He needs to win Arizona, Ohio, Iowa, North Carolina, Florida, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. If he gets all of those, he is in for sure. If he wins Pennsylvania, he could afford to lose one or two of the smaller states like Iowa or Nevada.

Put simply though, as has been said earlier, Pennsylvania.
