The reason why tinfoil hats don't work, is because all the foil is made up of aluminum (not tin)

We had one, it was tin but because of your argument we sent back to manufacturer to check if its not alluminum

Turn on a radio, any station will do.

Put tinfoil all around it including the antenna.

Suddenly all you hear is static because Aluminum will function as a faraday cage. I've done this test before.

Also works with other electronics.
