Do companies that do background checks take your money, and then its hard to cancel and they keep taking money? I want to do a background check on someone.

>> I am big on background checks. We interviewed one guy for a sales position and his 3 DUIs from the background check caused us to back out. Another person was not given the green light because of his background check. We avoided two potentially BIG problems by doing background checks. The company we use charges us individually and we pick from an al-a-carte menu what we want done. Some companies do want a contract or so. Be careful because the bigger companies may charge less for basic information and you have to pay more for the other levels of information. Go private or local if you can.
