Any GLPer's ever quit your job because you thought for sure that Apocolyptic Doom was going to be the next day??

Look dude, if you think the apocalypse is going to happen on any next day and you have work I suggest you fill up the car with gas, buy an extra carton of cigarettes, some beef jerky, 2 lts of water and go to work. If the shit hits the fan at least you have your basics covered. If you work at a place that allows conceal carry then wear it. If you do not then leave it in your glove compartment (don't tell anyone though- that's how shot gets stolen)

Well, i think if people around here are going to say;

"..i'm bringing in the tomato plants..."

they should qualify it better by saying;

"...i'm bringing in the tomato plants but I'm not quitting my day job..."
