Half Life--REAL LIFE--is there a Black Mesa somewhere?
I love Half Life. I think it's great. I love Half Life 2 and Opposing Force...yeah yeah yeah. It's great. But is there, do you think, a REAL Black Mesa Facility somewhere that does what they do in Half Life? Do you think maybe we really do have a way to go "somewhere else" (another dimension), and have we been there?

Natural selection-the half life mod-is pretty fun. I like playing with other people.

I think that some of these video games are similar to Hollywood movies, in that it's the elite's way of "hiding things in plain sight", i.e. telling you what they have going on, but in a way that it's presented as "science fiction" or a video game, so that you're programmed to accept that it couldn't possibly be REAL.

If you ever study the psychology of stage magic, illusionists, etc., there is a method behind their dialogue in which they give a hint as to how they do the illusion, but in such a way that it causes the viewer to discount the very solution in his own mind!! The magician can actually get the viewer to eliminate the very solution as "preposterous." It's very subtle and difficult to explain, but I see it as the same phenomenon going on with movies and video games.

They're telling you they have underground bases with weird experiments going on, but in such a way that you, the viewer,
have already classified it as science fiction and therefore impossible or unbelievable....

lol. That is me. I don't weigh 350 lbs. And I don't know about back woods but I used to live in colorado and spent time hiking and camping in the mountains and woods. Oh yes and I do shave.
Glad you like the avatar ^.^

If you REALLY want your wig flipped... do some research on DARPA ... ( mentioned alot in metal gear series)
a buddy of mine once went to their website .. he was checking out different areas .. and his computer went haywire.. as the website was trying to track his location.. freaked him out.. .. but ya if you go snooping about darpa.. not to make you paranoid.. but make sure your computer is about as secure as can be.. some freaky stuff really that there really is a DARPA .. and it does exactly as said in metalgear games.. as far as its role in wep and defense manufacturing ..
