Those abusive of power over minds and men have done one good work, whether intended or not: pushing us to unite

I know not everyone is on the same train as I on, but what I feel to be a pleasantly overwhelming number of people are on it. There is a large amount of Trump support, and a large amount of dedicated effort against Clinton in the discussion of this website, on other websites where discussions are allowed, and out there in the world. I have not this election cycle once overheard or experienced a substantive discussion in public which favored Hillary. I have overheard and experienced so many substantive conversations in support of Trump, or in distaste for Hillary.

These are the most exciting times in my 30ish years of life, I think. I think it is also sort of sad. Those producing and propagating discord here have done terrible things. They've also contributed to me eventually realizing how wonderful this life and all it touches are, no matter what, eventually and always. I can not say that I am not appreciative of this, and their role in this.

So... like... When the traps are full, what next?

Seems to me the best way to prevent reoccurrence of the terror created by evil works, is to not go on committing similar acts against the guilty once the guilty are discovered, known, and removed from their respective seats of power.

Deserving of severe punishment or not, any severe act of punishment may please some, but may also anger others. This anger, legitimate or not, only serves to f*** over future generations, our children's children. But is that good? I feel as though I've lived an amazing book... people should feel these feeling I'm feeling sometimes. But not for a long time, no one will forget this for quite some time.

Someone on glp said earlier today "D.C. is the hell of the US". Ok then. Then are the corrupt not exactly where they should be now, today? But anyways. No, I think they need to be away from public service and actually just away from the public in general, for as long as they live. But do know not every bit of the kernel from which they all operate can possibly be swept up right now. When these times are forgotten it will re-emerge.
