I actually hope that Trump is a good president and wish him the best of luck. I have my doubts but I mean that sincerely. It is his die-hard followers that scare the shit out of me. All this "we're going to rule the world" type of comments in this thread are an example of how delusional you are.

He'll tone down all of the Iran bashing once he gets a firm grip on reality. The USA isn't in a position to run itself let alone the world anymore - he's a businessman, he'll at least understand it in business terms. The best he could possibly do at this point is cruise us in for a horrible non-fatal crash landing. If he does that he will be a hero beyond measure.

And no, the USA cannot directly destroy Iran it has tried a dozen times in the last 50 years and failed miserably - it couldn't even directly destroy Syria, it send a bunch of throat slashers in to do the job for $150 a week and failed at that too.
