It is white people doing the graffiti and vandalism. Seen it with my own eyes living there for decades. There has been a debate for two years now about taking down a bunch of confederate monuments, Lee being one of them because in the minds of a minority those statues are causing all the problems in the city. Same group that wants to whitewash history and remove symbols that made that city the jewel of the south it was. Removing them is not going to change the increasing crime there. Same "take em down" protesters are capitalizing on the election while not talking at all how to really fix the problems in the city, which starts in the education system. The schools. Since Katrina the school system has become all about money and test scores. Trump wants to do away with standardized testing. End the corrupt money for test score system. If these fools would wake up they would see that is the real problem there and in all urban areas. Education should not be about money EVER.

Meanwhile the crime is going up. Nearly a murder a day for a city of 500K.
