SENTENCED FOR 'PAY-TO-PLAY' - 14 Years Sentence For Gov. Rod Blagojevich in 2010
12 years in Federal prison without possibility of parole on the 14-year sentence.

All because he wanted some sweetener from whoever he would put in Obama's former Illinois State Senate seat.

You may remember Blagojevich - another flambuoyant guy with hair.

He is a real modern American tragedy, imho.

Hillary, by contrast, stole the whole bank.

I'd like to see Blagojevich get a pardon.

He supported Reagan twice, although he was a Democrat.

Check wikipedia. Interesting guy, with gutsy ideas.

Re: SENTENCED FOR 'PAY-TO-PLAY' - 14 Years Sentence For Gov. Rod Blagojevich in 2010
While waiting for his trial, Rod appeared in 2010 on:

THE APPRENTICE

DJT knows him and said he had "courage" at the time.

Two days ago, the Chicago Tribune published a story on the angle that DJT may give Rod a release from jail, where he has 6 years left to serve.

His wife and daughters begged the original judge recently to commute his sentence.

DJT:

Quote -

"I think you're a guy with great courage," Trump told Blagojevich at the time. "Because I know people who get into trouble, and they just want to go home to mommy. I see them fold like a tent."

O'Reilly interviewed Blagojevich at the time of the filing of felony charged.

The governor wanted 6 weeks of taped telephone conversations in his home to be released, which he claimed would totally exonerate him.

Had no idea when I started this that there is now so much interest, as a Google search will show.

Actually, I barely remembered the story, and had to look it up, including getting the name right. But I'm glad I did. This was a real miscarriage of justice. I really had no idea.

Frankly, things in Chicago are so weird, I just let it pass me by at the time.

But look here:

Just 2 months ago, this other guy put up a video in the man's defense!

Some clips:

"Actually he was baited. He was entrapped."

"One man can't stand against the machine."

"He tried to do the right thing for the people of Illinois."

"He was trying to implement a program to allow senior citizens, with fixed incomes, to purchase their meds from Canada instead from the USA, so they could save money." -- Just trying to get a discount for oldsters."

It seems to me that everytime Blagojevich had an idea to do something new, he had the rug pulled out from under him. He made people uncomfortable all right.

So even though he never took a dime, and his 'crime' was all conjectural, from taped conversations -- there he went, right into the slammer.

Gov Bob McDonnel in Virginia too, replaced by Clinton crony Terry McAulife.

The one difference of course is the 'smoking gun' type evidence wherein the exchange of one thing for the other is literally caught on tape.

However, you don't need that sort of definitive evidence to convict most people 'beyond a reasonable doubt.' The Clintons and others with an army of top lawyers often try to and do get away with a different standard, something more like 'beyond any shadow of a doubt whatsoever.'

This is just one of the big boys that was too much of an outsider to the "crony gang", so they decided to feed him to the wolves, and in the process, generate public opinion that "something has been done", when truly, nothing at all has been done except to bury the masses ever deeper into believing that the "system is working".

The real problem is here:

Thread: America is Won+Lost Every Day In ...

People wonder how large criminal behavior rises to such high levels, and the answer is that it is because nobody can take care of it at lower levels because the State judiciary is fully corrupted by BAR members, another "gang" that takes an allegiance to protecting the "other gangs" from the people themselves. And so long as the BAR controls State judiciaries, it will forever be impossible to people+law to hold govt employees accountable.

IT'S THAT SIMPLE PEOPLE!

They were monitoring Blagojevich for a while. They might be doing the same with H. See how many crimes she racks up.

For example, I'm convinced there was tons DNC voter fraud on election night. They tried to duplicate Obama's numbers, figuring that would win, but it didn't. If it wasn't for the Trump silent/shy vote their voter fraud would've worked.
