Lady Jane Smith Forum Administrator 05/07/2017 09:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just found this awesome coffee table base on Ebay for a song: Quoting: Lady Jane Smith [link to www.ebay.com] Will be great with the pair of sofas I just picked up also for a song: [link to www.ebay.com] offD&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc Hickory Chair is a good brand, solid construction. You got them at an awesome price...seriously. Because they are cream linen, get them treated (sealed) though im sure you will...with kids and husband around , you'll be glad that you did! Oh yes, I will have the fabric protected. This will not be the primary lounging sofa -- that is a Henredon 18 ft diameter half circle sectional that will be in the game room. It is currently covered in a dark chocolate colored mohair velvet, but i will have it recovered in an onyx mohair velvet after the move. I picked it up after the housing market crashed for $1200 -- it was a $15,000 sofa :) I alway buy high quality furniture, and then have it recovered as needed. I plan to keep most pieces forever. MilaMoon (OP) User ID: 74864407 United States 05/10/2017 12:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I absolutely LOVE the piece of artwork with the stag and unicorn. I really want to see if I can find a large print for the wall behind the bed. The piece is so perfect for us LOL. The stag is even in a suit and the unicorn in bootie heels. Amazing. The Franc textiles are so bright and gorgeous. I love big bold colors. I did art history in university and thought maybe of opening a gallery way back then when I was a downtown hipster kid. ;-) Quoting: MilaMoon I like art too. I once got too close to this Van Gogh...lol I was mesmerized and was reaching out towards it...i didnt even realize...and the guards rushed over and grabbed my arms and pulled me back. "Wheat Fields After the Rain" [link to fineartamerica.com (secure)] Oh deer lord, you got manhandled by museum guards! Have you seen the movie The Thomas Crowne Affair? I think you'll like it. I was 12 when I first got to see the Mona Lisa at the Louvre in Paris, not to mention the other unbelievable pieces they have there. Do you think I cared? Nope. I was more interesting in finding the nearest Parisian McDonald's and my father was horrified. I love the Louvre now though and it still trips me out how tiny the Mona Lisa is. The Louvre website is cool. You can browse the collections. MilaMoon (OP) User ID: 74864407 United States 05/10/2017 12:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sugarsand Quoting: AGrass to you too!!! Happy Friday everyone! Watching Star Wars at the moment, A new Hope. It seems so old fashioned! I found some blackberry whiskey in my old hutch last weekend, I forgot how good it was. Im having some now, So here's a toast to all of you! Blackberry whiskey! I'm not a big drinker contrary to everyone thinking I'm always loaded on champagne and I almost never drink hard liquor unless Merit turns it into an Irish mule or some girly cocktail for me but blackberry whiskey sounds AMAZING. Kind of reminds me of the plum brandy my family is always drinking. We missed our Friday night Niamh toast! She was not around to throw her cups at us. Plum brandy? I like that idea. Hmm! Maybe Ill try that someday. :-) Lol I also found the last bottle of plum wine my Dad made many years ago...I drank a couple little glasses of that the previous weekend in memory of him. He also used to make tomato wine....sounds funny and awful, but boy was that the best; delicate pink amber color but slighty sweet and a little on the heavy side. Mulled with cinnamon stick...just wonderful. Dandelion wine too--like sunshine champagne. I really do not drink, but if I do, I actually pefer whiskey, then beer (with two shakes of salt in it) , in that order. Not sure what Niamh prefers, but I probably would be chucking glasses at y'all too lol! Btw...I love the short booties with the turquoise beaded top! Lol the other ones you could probably rock really well!!! Not me..im too *cough* mature. Hahaha Did you get them? Plum Brandy is called Slivovitz. Some of the other Eastern European countries like to try claim it as their own but it's a Polish thing. It's an acquired taste LOL. I actually think it's gross and tastes like moonshine. Merit has not experienced it yet because my family doesn't bust it out that often but it's coming because it's my father's new mission to turn Merit into a Slivovitz aficionado. I have been watching some older movies lately and it's amazing the information they put in them and can now see with a different set of values/eyes. In Like Flint... At the end the fake president , while taking him away says, don't let them flouridate your water, among many other things occurring in the movie that is almost a script for today. Anyways.. for the conspiracy theorist this movie fits. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Hope everyone has a great and awesome day!! |

LOL I want to know what is "a control". "Mila is a control." A control what? Last time I checked I was more interested in picking up my 300th pink-nude lipstick at Sephora, lately boot shopping, taking the dog the dog spa, and forcing Merit to watch shows like the White Princess with me while he grudgingly cuddles with me in between his visits to the range and eating snacks. Or, sometimes he makes me watch war movies. If that's what they do in the CIA then sign me up so I can get paid to shop. I am definitely not a witch. Fascinating!
