Ssso I Heard there is some random crazy who is back.
Maybe it's time I made a thread that plainly describes why insanity is a very real hazard of the occult?
It will be interesting in that it likely won't help a single person already insane because of it bit the afflicted will come to the thread to "defend their insanity" and provide me with ample examples to show others reading so that they know I'm telling the truth.
I can explain it from both a psychological phenom and metaphysical recoil perspective. The behaviors are very atypical of those with this kind of insanity generally and they all "act like each other" which is both creepy and fascinating.
Quoting: Merit Yesss, my love. Occultist 101 class, the what NOT to do lesson for them. This crazy one is quite blind though. They are convinced they are doing God's work. They asked for a fire. Maybe we should provide the wood?
Quoting: MilaMoon They all think that. Even the ones who walk around talking about how evil they are think they are doing gods work. They come to grips with the fact their insanity induces evil thoughts and behavior but then rationalize it by saying God created evil and they are being what God created them to do.
They think it's a clever plot twist. In reality it's very common and predictable.
It's just one of stages and likely routs the insanity will take to stay in control on a long enough time line.
Essentially they are controlled by their feelings, which means they view themselves as God.
So, if they can rationalize the way they feel to themselves, no matter how insane, they can then rationalize their corresponding behaviors as acting on behalf of "God".
(Their feelings in actuality)
I mean, I think we can all agree it's insane to let our feelings guide our lives yes? We all know certain ppl who can make us feel things we don't like and then act out foolishly because of the way they made us feel. That's a clear and elementary example of why our feelings are not to lead our actions untempered by our minds and our experience as well as the experience of others and all thst is in human history.
