IBM CEO has Just Congratulated Trump and made a Sales Pitch

"Most CEOs in the tech industry have reacted to Donald Trump’s election cautiously, issuing a string of somewhat nebulous calls for unity. Another, perhaps appealing to the businessman’s self-styled reputation as a deal-maker, has grasped the opportunity to couple congratulating the president-elect with a detailed sales pitch.

“I know that you are committed to help America’s economy grow in ways that are good for all of its people,” IBM CEO Ginny Rometty wrote in a three-page letter to Trump.

Rometty then goes on to suggest six different ways in which he could boost economic growth. And how IBM could participate.

The computer company, for example, urged Trump to involve technology such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things in his plan to rebuild national infrastructure. “And as infrastructure gets smarter it also increases the need for cybersecurity, so that vital networks cannot be compromised,” Rometty said.
