Bumpty Dumpty

So, is James his real name? Or did he get abducted by the Powers to Be and had his name changed so he could do nefarious deeds. I'm thinking his birth name was Timmy Smith and at 8 years of age he had an encounter with a pedo and was turned into a raging child predator. This anagram with a french word is a little too pat.
