The boy is probably a pain in the ass in class and should probably be in an alternative school, but they mainline everybody these days. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73454749 The teacher probably warned him he would lose his stage performance in class due to disrupting the class entirely too much, and he continued to do so anyway. She's looks like she's totally fed up with the kid. I know it's harsh, but there's always two sides to the story and we're only hearing one. All these kids shouldn't be being mainlined like they are into classes that can't possibly deal with all the issues. And I'm just going to take a wild guess that it was the parents who told him to get up on the stage at the end of the line and do it anyway. And teacher was going to have none of it. So parents go and put it on youtube to make a big ol' stink. |

I myself have a daughter who while in high school had a boy with down's syndrome decide he wanted to marry my daughter and then basically harassed her for the rest of high school. Fortunately for him, my daughter is a lovely nice girl and didn't do anything mean to him, but anyone else certainly might have. I really don't believe it's doing anyone any good having these kids mainlined. Not if anyone is actually going to get educated anymore. But maybe that's the point. |

Poor kid was probably excited to be seen by mom and dad on stage and the teacher just embarrassed him. If she is like that in a room full of parents I guarantee you she is way worse when no one is there. Although I don't think she is special ed, I know what special ed teachers in particular have to go through - bites, slaps, all kind of things, it's tiring, it's tough, it requires patience- but to just purposely act so cruel to a kid before they do anything is absolutely inappropriate. |

The fact is, the kid was traumatized by a vicious teacher, one I would do everything possible to ensure that she lost her job. If she's such a bad teacher something would have come out earlier. Maybe the kid likes to hit when he has an object in his hand. I feel for the parents of handicapped children but even the sweetest if these kids can turn especially when out if their normal routine. |

Quoting: Hawk-02 Caleb's parents posted video of the incident on social media and the clip has gone viral. Children in costumes approach the mic one by one to thank the audience and wish them a happy Thanksgiving. When it comes time for Caleb to speak, a woman is seen yanking the mic from its stand. "I left in tears because one teacher Mrs. Linsey I think her name is grabbed the microphone from Caleb and in a mean way," wrote Amanda Riddle. "My son is a little different I know this but his heart is so big and he loves everyone. What does it matter if he wanted to say gobble gobble he was the turkey after all.
