UPDATE: 6 Children Dead: School Bus Carrying Elementary School Students Crashed Into a Tree In Chattanooga

My kids were in a bus accident, all of them on the same bus. I didn't find out about until over an hour after it happened. I drove like a maniac to the where the bus had flipped over, then ran about a half mile down the road to get to the bus. No one would tell me anything, no idea of injuries, if my kids were okay, nothing.I drove around trying to find information and finally decided to go home and see if someone had driven them home. My children were sitting on the front porch, bruised scared and crying. Needless to say I was beside myself with relief. Scariest day of my life. All I could think was that my entire life was on that bus.

This was before cell phones, so no way to contact them when I was looking.

It looked like it was going pretty fast. At least 40+ mph. Those things are top heavy, so something must have hit at an angle and one of the front tires popped.
