Nice theory but Trump has no power other than veto to do any of what you've described:

DC is not a state, tard. Yes they have their own drivers licenses and license plates and their own electors for the electoral college but it is not a state.


I submit that DC should be reclaimed by Virginia and then leveled; made a National Forest.

Break California into 3sections.

North section...farming region...southern region. Keep the north and farmlands...give southern part back to Mexico... fuck 'em

For those calling for DC to be a state - it can't be. Too tired to look it up - but the Federal gov't is only allowed to own so much land for it's business. IIRC it's 15 sq. miles. That's why DC exists. It would be a conflict of interest if DC became a state. If DC wants to be a state, then we have to move the seat of the Federal government - and for that, other states need to volunteer to give up their land.

Both DC and PR lean Democratic. I doubt that a Republican congress will agree to 4 more Democratic senators.

As to why they stay there- because they play by a different set of rules. A separate Constitution.
