What has happened to You Tube

I used to get so many suggested viewings.
So many choices and options and some were really worthwhile.
Now, my home page has such dead. lifeless options and the amount is pathetic.
Now before I sign in the trending options are open and there is tons of stuff which I don't subscribe to my itnerest being primarily spiritual and comedy with earth science thrown in.
But it appears that that system is closed down.
For me the web has become a stale piece of bread.
How did they kill it so easily.

I recall in the past there were so many fascinating things like words as spells and new understandings.
Now only these formulaic blogs with the usual layout and click bait.

Think I will take the owl for a walk and move away forever.
