fisher7321 User ID: 14206304 Canada 11/29/2016 12:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Turkish military launched its operations in Syria to end the rule of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Nov. 29. “In my estimation, nearly 1 million people have died in Syria. These deaths are still continuing without exception for children, women and men. Where is the United Nations? What is it doing? Is it in Iraq? No. We preached patience but could not endure in the end and had to enter Syria together with the Free Syrian Army [FSA],” Erdoğan said at the first Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform Symposium in Istanbul. “Why did we enter? We do not have an eye on Syrian soil. The issue is to provide lands to their real owners. That is to say we are there for the establishment of justice. We entered there to end the rule of the tyrant al-Assad who terrorizes with state terror. [We didn’t enter] for any other reason,” the president said. fisher7321 |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 69531566 Turkey 11/29/2016 12:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that the Turkish Army has entered Syria to end the rule of Syrian President Bashar Assad, whom he accused of terrorism and causing the deaths of thousands of Syrians. “We entered [Syria] to end the rule of the tyrant al-Assad who terrorizes with state terror. [We didn’t enter] for any other reason,” the Turkish president said at the first Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform Symposium in Istanbul, as quoted by Hurriyet daily. Erdogan said that Turkey has no territorial claims in Syria, but instead wants to hand over power to the Syrian population, adding that Ankara is seeking to restore “justice.” “Why did we enter? We do not have an eye on Syrian soil. The issue is to provide lands to their real owners. That is to say we are there for the establishment of justice,” he said. Now, he just sentenced his own military troops inside SYria, to DEATH. Both the Syria Arab Army and its Russian Allies will now ATTACK those troops and kill them. Turkey will cry to NATO and we'll see what they get as far as a NATO reply. With Obama on the way out and Trump on the way in, there is very little window for NATO to wage war upon Russia. This is a cluster-fuck of global proportions. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72666162 Russia won't let this happen. NATO will defend Turkey. China will defend it's assets in Syria. NATO has no obligation to defend Turkey. Turkey is attacker here, and Turkish armed forces invade sovereign Syria land which is against international law. Time to Russia act, or if Russia dont act, they betray Syria. |
