Super Volcano about to blow in New Zealand
GeoNet is reporting another hydrothermal eruption in Rotorua.

"We've had reports of another hydrothermal eruption at Rotorua. Our trusty volcanologist @Eruptn is heading out to take a look," the geological hazard monitoring agency said on Twitter.

Magma is on the rise...or, that the recent EQs have created a fissure/crack allowing water to reach down closer to the heated rock, causing an 'Old Faithful' type event when it reaches the boiling point, expands and erupts as a geyser.

Mount St Helen's started with small quakes like a 2.5 then bumped to 4.5 and ground swelled then boom!! If the quakes start I think I'd get as far away as possible!

Mount St Helen's started with small quakes like a 2.5 then bumped to 4.5 and ground swelled then boom!! If the quakes start I think I'd get as far away as possible!
