It's about whether a person is immortal or mortal, they transcend death or they perish.

That's the fundamental of belief.

Something that doesn't die, I believe it is possible.

Beyond that what do people do with that creates religion.

Religion can be very scary. You got people running around knowing of immortality and either acting or not acting accordingly.

If the Jews killed God, did they believe more in the immortality of life than other groups for instance?

Religion seems to be God -morality.

Belief in God and religion are of the same thing but indeed are entirely different things all together.

God said, 'do not be religious beyond the age of innocence, period.'

Mortality comes from sinfulness.

If you spend years studying, interpreting, extrapolating; using eschatology, ontology, epistomology, etc.--the original languages dating back to the earliest man--it PRECISELY TEACHES TO GRAB YOURSELF BY THE BUTT, get OFF your butt, and
DO GOOD for your fellow man while worshiping God.
The TRUTH is stranger than FICTION.
