Morgan
In the classical period of Greek mythology, Artemis was often described as the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. She was the Hellenic goddess of the hunt, wild animals, wilderness, childbirth, virginity and protector of young girls, bringing and relieving disease in women; she often was depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows.[6] The deer and the cypress were sacred to her. In later Hellenistic times, she even assumed the ancient role of Eileithyia in aiding childbirth.

I gave this definition because in the following movie she is represented in both characters. They mostly show this at the end of the film while the executives come to their conclusions. It becomes even more clearer when you see the scenes in which Morgan deals with the 'deer'.

What differed between the two was that one was affected by others emotions (L9), while the other was not (L4). They showed this completely when Lee was first shown Morgan and was not surprised or astonished by her as the other scientists had expected her to be. Also, when one of the scientists tried to hit on Lee, if you pay attention, she does not respond in the way you would have expected. It was quite an awkward scene lol

What made this apparent was the pharaoh hound which was shown in the foreground at the end. This is key because, like felines in general, the pharaoh hound is the only dog which is not effected by mankind's mental pollution. In other words, they stay true to their own nature.

Also, due to her heightened emotions, Morgan was more akin to a 'pet' than a real being. While Lee was able to be on her own, Morgan was confined to a 'cage' . She also bonded with only one 'handler' among the scientist which the dog is notoriously known for. All the other scientists she had little regard for and she demonstrated this clearly by simply killing them without hesitation when the opportunity arose. The only thing she had in common with Lee was that she was a hunter (hunted rabbits). It is funny because the minute I see 'rabbit', I think 'guardian'.

Now, if you know who the 'guardians' are, it becomes quite clear why Lee was superior.

Why?

Because Lee had melanin (dark hair, clothing, eyes), while Morgan was pale and albinic.

The film also related to creation because like Jacob, this whole project was done in secrecy, and was being conducted far away from prying eyes (aka island/moon). This was also shown in Ex-Machina. A common trait to many stories if one pays attention.

Re: Morgan
The bonsai tree was also shown.

This is important because the tree is..

"an ornamental tree or shrub grown in a pot and artificially prevented from reaching its normal size."

In both cases, Lee and Morgan were a symbolic representative of this because they were pruned and clipped to their given purpose. In other words, they were only allowed to reach a certain threshold according to their makers mandates.

Re: Morgan
hmm.
When the one great scorer comes to write against your name, he writes not that you won or lost but how you played the game.

The stance and stare of a wolf you find yourself alone with will tell you that he is prepared to treat you as you would treat him. Whether that comforts or frightens you, he has told you all you need know about both.
