It's already been tried, we refer to those days as the dark ages. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41363484 And the Bible survived the Dark Ages and the vicious attempts to destroy it....today it is alive and well to 99 percent of the earth The bible is about 94% rubbish. It has created more trouble than what it is worth. In the dark ages, they would chop your head off if you did not conform to the religious ways of the day. The book of fairy tales is old, has been reworded time and time again and has nothing to do with today or any other part of life. It was meant to teach people about love at one point, and act as a guide to being a better person but that has gone and replaced with corrupt bullshit. My advice: I would rather live life and try and do my best, then read some book over and over again, wasting time. |

If God was all-powerful, all-good, and all-knowing, why would he put up with the evil that the video says controls our world? Better that there is no God at all, so that we wouldn't have to blame him for being so negligent. Just don't make anything up. |

Conforming to religious ways during the Dark Ages has nothing to do with the Bible, it has to do with man made false doctrines Because the Bible teaches to be a better person, and religions have corrupted what it teaches, is that the Bible's fault? Actually, the Bible foretold the actions of humans during this time period, .... "But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away."- 2 Timothy 3:1-5 |

Oh come now CM surely by now in our modern scientifically advanced society of higher learning you don't belittle your gullible self by desperately clinging to a bronze age book of children's fairy tales do you? However comforting your precious little book of 'nice guys finish first' golden rules is, man's evolutionary climb to top predator teaches survival of the fittest, it's the law of the jungle that prevails, specifically "he who has the gold makes the rules" So you see this is why it has become fashionable in our top social/economic ruling class to blame the bible for holding us back so long. While still alive, they both were hurled into the fiery lake that burns with sulphur. 21 But the rest were killed off with the long sword of the one seated on the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth. NO !!! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70832056 It's been given a chance for hundreds and hundreds of years. It's not done shit. What might you expect it to do, teach the world common sense enabling man to turn chaos into civilization? "Who is wise and understanding among YOU? Let him show out of his fine conduct his works with a mildness that belongs to wisdom. 14 But if YOU have bitter jealousy and contentiousness in YOUR hearts, do not be bragging and lying against the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is [the] earthly, animal, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and contentiousness are, there disorder and every vile thing are. 17 But the wisdom from above is first of all chaste, then peaceable, reasonable, ready to obey, full of mercy and good fruits, not making partial distinctions, not hypocritical. 18 Moreover, the fruit of righteousness has its seed sown under peaceful conditions for those who are making peace." Ja3:13 When all else fails read the directions. |
