Inverted power to run fridge and freezers will trash out a bank of batteries pretty quickly. You have to have deep pockets to get the batteries designed to the job and last.

Solar or wind turbine to keep a bank of batteries up for lights (led), charging devices, running radios etc. is easier to do. Youtube it, there's a lot out there.
